The so-called booster campaign will start in a large part of Brabant on Friday. People aged eighty and older can then receive their third vaccination against corona. The three GGDs in our province sent out the invitations earlier this week. Elderly people who are eligible for this booster vaccination and who live in Southeast Brabant have to wait until Monday. Pricing is only possible by appointment. The third vaccination is seen as extra protection.
The GGD West Brabant starts Friday at Breda International Airport in Bosschenhoofd. From Monday, people will also be helped at Breepark in Breda. Both locations are open Monday through Friday.
In the working area of the GGD Hart voor Brabant, the booster shot will be administered from Friday at the vaccination locations in Boxtel, Veghel and Waalwijk. Also at the weekend (older) people can be vaccinated for the third time. This is often more convenient for their supervisors, according to the GGD.
Also in Southeast Brabant there will be ‘boosted’ on Saturday and Sunday, although the campaign in this region will not start until next Monday. The target group can go to the Antoon Coolenlaan in Eindhoven and the Haverdijk in Helmond for this.
