Monday, July 4, 5:30 p.m.: The state health department reported 324 new infections with the corona virus in the Emmendingen district from Saturday to Monday. The so-called seven-day incidence has thus risen to 694.0. The national average was 598.8 on Monday.
Thursday, June 30, 6:25 p.m.: The state health department in Stuttgart reported 271 new confirmed corona infections and a seven-day incidence of 593.3 per 100,000 inhabitants on Thursday evening for the Emmendingen district. A total of 990 people have been infected in the past seven days. For comparison: On Thursday a week ago, the incidence in the district was 451.9.
Wednesday, June 29, 5 p.m.: It is currently a wave movement: As reported by the state health department, the incidence in the Emmendingen district rose again above the 500 mark. After 231 newly registered cases of infection, the reported value is now 523.8 compared to 489.6 the day before. The national average incidence is currently 553.6. For comparison: In the neighboring district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, an incidence of 509.7 is reported, for the Ortenau a value of 517.6 was determined.
Monday, June 27, 6 p.m.: The state health department reported 185 new corona infections for the Emmendingen district on Monday evening. The seven-day incidence per 100,000 inhabitants thus increases to 503.4. For comparison: on Friday evening the incidence was 498.6, on Monday a week ago it was 323.0. In the past seven days, 840 people in the district have been shown to have been infected.
Friday, June 24, 6:50 p.m.: The seven-day incidence of Covid-19 cases in the district of Emmendingen has risen again: the state health office gave it 498.6 on Friday evening and reported 144 new proofs of infection that had become known and one other death. The number of people who died from or with the corona virus rose to 244. Within the past week, a total of 832 new infections with the corona virus were counted in the district. The numbers are also increasing nationwide, the national average of the incidence is given by the office at 493.6. In Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald it is 518.4 and in the Ortenau district 403.4.
Wednesday, June 22, 6:30 p.m.: Within two days, the incidence in the Emmendingen district rose by almost 100 points to 420.1 (state incidence 394.1). The state health department reports this in its daily report. After that, 176 new cases of corona infection were registered in the district.
Tuesday, June 21, 5:25 p.m.: The incidence value for the district is given by the state health department as increasing. That is 380.6. 237 further corona cases were newly reported. On average, the seven-day incidence is currently 360.2, i.e. lower than in the Emmendingen district.

The number of people infected since the outbreak of the pandemic has thus increased to 56,883. The seven-day incidence was given as 323.0 for the district on Monday (Friday: 322.4). With a value of 313.1, the state average was below that of the district. No other deaths were reported in the county on Monday. A total of 333 people have died in the district since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Friday, June 17, 5:20 p.m.: The state health department reported 168 new infections in the Emmendingen district on Friday evening. The district authority assumes that the true number is quite higher.
Tuesday, June 14, 6:40 p.m.: According to the state and nationwide trend, the incidence is also increasing in the district. The State Health Office gives the value as 369.8 compared to 320.0 the day before. 140 new cases of corona infection were registered. According to the daily report, the state incidence is currently 330.5.

Tuesday, May 31, 5:35 p.m.: The state health department reported 95 new confirmed cases of infection for the Emmendingen district on Tuesday. The seven-day incidence increased by 11.4 points to 169.6. According to statistics, there were no new deaths related to Covid-19. The nationwide value rose minimally to 167.4. Freiburg and the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald are also reporting increasing incidences. In Freiburg, the value climbed by 38.5 points to 229.9 compared to the previous day.
