Corona: New York trial against R. Kelly postponed to April

The singer (“I Believe I Can Fly”), who has been in custody in Chicago since last summer, is charged, among other things, with the sexual abuse of minors – but protests his innocence and has already pleaded not guilty on several occasions. Long indictments have been filed against Kelly in Chicago and Minnesota. However, the processes were all initially postponed in the Corona crisis. R. Kelly had asked for early release several times because of the pandemic, but failed each time.
