Corona new measure! Smoking is prohibited while walking

Giresun Governorship made an important decision in combating the corona virus. Smoking has been banned on the street following the increasing number of cases in recent days.

The following statements were included in the written statement made by the governorship;

1-In all public institutions in our city, the necessary work is carried out and implemented in order to arrange the beginning and end of the work as 08: 00–16: 30 and 08: 30-17: 00 in order to prevent the intensity of public transportation and other means of transportation,

2- Our citizens who are over 65 years old and have chronic illnesses in our city can visit Gazi, Fatih, Alpaslan Streets between 07: 00-10: 00 and 16: 00- Restriction of entry at 19:00 hours, exemption of our citizens over the age of 65 who have businesses or work in Gazi, Fatih and Alpaslan Streets,

3-Measuring fever at the entrances in the neighborhood markets of our city, compliance with the rules set for marketplaces and distributing masks by the municipal teams,

5-Arrangement in such a way that a maximum of two people can sit around small tables in businesses and similar places where there is difficulty in maintaining social distance such as a tea shop, and that the seating directions of these two people are facing the same direction,

SMOKING PROHIBITED

6-The prohibition of smoking during walking as it creates a risk of contamination by violating the use of masks in public areas such as streets, streets, parks and so on throughout our province,

It was decided to comply with these decisions taken above, to impose administrative fines in accordance with Article 282 of the Public Health Law, to take action in accordance with the relevant articles of the Law according to the situation of violation, to initiate the necessary judicial proceedings within the scope of Article 195 of the Turkish Penal Code.
