Germany is looking at the Federal Chancellery today: At the federal-state summit (since 2 p.m.), new corona measures are to be decided in order to prevent an uncontrollable corona outbreak throughout the country.
It is already clear that the lives of many German citizens could change suddenly after the summit, if the plans in the draft resolution go.
► As early as a 7-day incidence (frequency of new infections in a region in seven days per 100,000 people) of 35, the first measures should now be taken to contain the virus and prevent it from rising to the critical value of 50.
According to the draft resolution (available from BILD): “It is necessary to reduce the number of contacts in the population in spite of the start of the cold season and the associated relocation of many indoor activities to areas where there is a particular risk of infection. ”
In other words: Even with a 7-day incidence of 35 in these regions …
● … “a supplementary mask requirement will be introduced where people come together closer and / or longer.”
●… “a curfew (…) will be introduced in the catering trade. Bars and clubs will be closed. “
● … “the number of participants at events” is limited to a certain number of participants. “
● … “a participant limit” applies in public and private areas. ”
And while more and more regions in Germany (including Düsseldorf, Bremen, Essen, Munich, Frankfurt / Main, Berlin and Stuttgart) are considered corona risk areas, the 35 incidence regions include far more.
Because: According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the 7-day value across Germany is currently 29.6. Berlin (60.5) and Bremen (70.8) are above the 50 mark, all of North Rhine-Westphalia already at 39.7. Hesse (34.1) and Baden-Württemberg (31.6) are approaching the 35 threshold.
The shock list
These are the shock numbers for the individual regions according to the Robert Koch Institute (as of October 14, 12 a.m.):

According to BILD research, 13.6 million German citizens are currently part of a risk area. If you add the circles listed, a further 13 million German citizens are now in the 35 pre-stage!
Means: More than 26 million people in Germany will probably soon have to live with restrictions – that is almost every third person in the country!

But: The Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (45, CDU) wants to tip the 7-day incidences!
Before the summit, he said: “We can see from the reactions not only in Saxony, but in Germany as a whole that this instrument is too sharp a sword with the question of 50 patients per 100,000 inhabitants.”
He also rejected a tightening of the corona rules.
