– We are willing to do anything to kill the virus, and we will succeed this time as well. It is tough, and it is difficult, said a seriously burdened city council leader Raymond Johansen (Labor) on Monday night.
– If the infection becomes too high for too long, we risk the system kneeling. Then we lose control, he emphasized.
These are the measures in Oslo:
Prohibition of more than two visitors in private homes.
Full-digital teaching is being introduced for upper secondary schools and upper secondary schools throughout Oslo.
All kindergartens and activity schools are closed during the Easter week.
Home school is introduced for 5.-7. steps at all schools in the districts Grorud, Stovner, Alna, Bjerke, Gamle Oslo, Grünerløkka and Søndre Nordstrand. It may be relevant to introduce all-digital teaching for this age group at other schools or in other districts if the local infection situation so dictates.
All the existing strict measures in Oslo will be continued. This includes, among other things, a ban on drinking, closed nightlife, closed shops, gyms, theaters and cinemas, as well as a ban on events (with the exception of, among other things, funerals). In addition, there is a red level in kindergartens and primary schools – in 1.-4. steps throughout the city, as well as 5.-7. steps in schools in districts that do not have fully digital education.
It was emphasized that kindergartens and schools will be reopened at a red level on Tuesday 6 April. Other measures apply until 9 April.

The City Council also stated that vulnerable groups and children with parents who have socially critical functions will receive an adapted offer with a physical presence before Easter. In addition, children in the mentioned group will also receive an adapted offer during the Easter week.
