Corona
In principle, there are no longer any ‘corona measures’ as we knew them during the corona lockdowns. Locking yourself up for a week – or perhaps longer if the complaints persist – is no longer an option.
However, there are a number of things you should take into account, the RIVM advises. In principle, the advice ‘stay at home if you are sick’ applies. This is of course also the case if you have the ‘normal flu’. If you have minor complaints such as a sore throat or runny nose, discuss with your employer whether you can work from home.
Reduced resistance
By working from home you avoid contact with others and therefore further spread of the virus. According to the RIVM, the most important thing is to avoid contact with people who have reduced resistance, for example because they are seriously ill. In case of informal care, a mouth and nose mask is recommended.
Furthermore (but this goes without saying): ensure sufficient ventilation in the house and wash your hands regularly with soap and water.
