What was originally a holiday planned for two weeks has now become a three-month permanent residence, the tenant does not leave the holiday home.
The single mother Micki Hacking is soon threatened with financial ruin. When hacking is for work in London, England, she rents out her house to vacationers. Since October 2020, however, the 61-year-old Marty Black has been occupying her property and is not even thinking about paying rent or leaving the house.
Afraid of losing the house
Hacking reported to the English “Daily Mail” about her situation and said that she could no longer sleep at night and was dependent on the rental income. It is quite possible that she could even lose the house, which costs around 900,000 euros, as it is still on a mortgage.
“I’m not going anywhere!”
Hacking cannot imagine pursuing an expensive legal battle that has been extremely slowed down by the corona pandemic, as squatter Black leans back and believes that he would be protected by the Corona law change, which gives tenants in need a six-month notice period. According to Hacking, Black also insulted and threatened her with the words: “I’m not going anywhere!”
The 46-year-old British woman is now trying to use the media to insist on the right to her property and to get the senior, who allegedly claims to be a multi-millionaire, out of her four walls.
