The Berlin Senate has once again extended the lockdown to contain the corona pandemic. The German Press Agency learned this from Senate circles on April 13, 2021.
For example, contact restrictions continue to apply: a maximum of five people from two households plus children up to 14 years of age are allowed to meet outdoors. At night, you can only stay outdoors alone or in pairs – children are not counted here either. There are restrictions on shopping in stores, restaurants remain closed, and hotel stays are prohibited.

However, these rules should no longer apply for too long. Because the federal cabinet decided on Tuesday changes to the Infection Protection Act with the aim of standardizing the corona rules in Germany and applying a nationwide emergency brake for regions in which the incidence is 100 infected per 100,000 within a week or higher. This is currently the case in Berlin.
