Argentine President Alberto Fernandez announced, on Saturday, the extension of a compulsory general isolation in the capital, Buenos Aires, until the seventh of June, after the city witnessed a steady increase in the number of cases of Coronavirus in recent days.
Argentina imposed the lockdown on March 20 and was due to end on Sunday, although officials have eased restrictions in some parts of the country.
In a related context, the total number of Corona cases in South Korea increased to 11,190 people, after 25 new cases were recorded.
On Sunday, South Korea announced the registration of 25 new confirmed cases of the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 17 were locally transmitted cases.
The country did not report any new deaths yesterday, so the death toll remains at 266.
