High risk groups

The vaccine is for people aged 60 and over, adults up to 60 who receive an annual flu vaccination, children and adults from high-risk medical groups, such as people with immune disorders, healthcare workers with direct contact with patients, people with a vulnerable family member, and informal carers.

People over 60 are invited with a letter from the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). This will be sent between August 27 and mid-October.

Others will not receive an invitation letter and can make an appointment with the GGD via ggdafspraak.nl from 27 August.

Residents of health care centers are vaccinated in the institution. People who cannot come to the GGD injection site independently or with help due to their health, can request to receive the corona injection at home.
