DKI Jakarta residents must be aware of the old seasonal disease, namely dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD). In the midst of a pandemic that has not receded, citizens of the capital must be extra vigilant about diseases whose initial symptoms are similar to the COVID 19 virus.
As many as seven residents from six sub-districts in North Jakarta were attacked in the period January 1 to February 28, 2021.
Head of North Jakarta Health Office, Dr. Yudi Dimyati, said in Jakarta, Sunday, that there were three cases of dengue fever in February and four cases of dengue fever in January 2021 in North Jakarta.
“Three cases in February were in Koja, Penjaringan, and Tanjung Priok Subdistricts. One case each,” said Yudi.
Yudi reminded that the humid environment is a good place for the dengue mosquitoes to breed.
