Corona infections in WZC Autumn Dream in Buggenhout

In the Autumn dream residential care center in Buggenhout, eight residents and 4 staff members have tested positive for corona. One resident, who was very weak, has died. The others show only mild, or even almost no symptoms. The double vaccination prevents people from becoming seriously ill, says the rest home. No hospitalizations are required. The residents here were among the first to be vaccinated. It’s the Delta variant that got in. Residents who tested positive will not be able to receive visitors during their quarantine period. And the cafeteria of the residential care center will remain closed for the time being.
