Corona incidence value in NRW increases significantly – Krefeld and Wuppertal at a high level
The incidence value in North Rhine-Westphalia has skyrocketed.

The incidence value has skyrocketed in North Rhine-Westphalia. The weekly value also remains high in Wuppertal and Krefeld. Düsseldorf almost reaches the 100 mark.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, the weekly Corona value has risen significantly again – from 113.4 on Thursday to 121.6 on Friday. This was announced by the State Center Health NRW in the morning. The key figure shows the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days. According to
Robert Koch Institute, the value in North Rhine-Westphalia was last higher on January 17th at 123.0.

According to the state center, five districts and urban districts now have an incidence of more than 200. The Märkische Kreis had the highest values with 233.0 and the Kreis Lippe with 229.9. In total, only 16 of the 53 districts and cities in North Rhine-Westphalia were below the 100 mark. The lowest incidences were registered in Höxter (58.5) and Münster (59.6).

Such is the situation in Wuppertal, Krefeld and Düsseldorf

The front runner of the three cities is Krefeld with an incidence value of 171.1. This emerges from information from the RKI on March 26th. In Wuppertal, the incidence value was 162.8. Düsseldorf is also not far from the 100 mark. There the weekly value was 91.7.

Nationwide, the health authorities were aware of 4,918 new infections within 24 hours and 37 new deaths. The number of people who died in connection with Corona in North Rhine-Westphalia increased to 14 066.
