In Berlin, the seven-day incidence of corona infections has increased slightly again. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) stated the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week on May 28, 2021 as 35.0. The previous day the value was 34.1.
The general trend in new infections has been declining for weeks, so that politicians are planning to further relax the previously applicable restrictions. According to the health administration’s management report, the corona traffic light turned green for the first time in months when the intensive care beds were occupied. 14.9 percent of this capacity is used by Covid 19 patients. Now of the four traffic lights that show different factors, only the incidence traffic light is red.
