On Wednesday, 207 newly detected cases were added. That’s 50 more than on Tuesday, but 68 less than a week ago. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the number of people who died in connection with the virus increased by 4 to 1702. According to the health authorities, at least 90,167 Hamburgers have been infected with the corona virus, 83,900 of them, since the beginning of the pandemic are considered recovered according to the RKI.

According to the health authorities, 121 Covid-19 patients were treated in Hamburg’s hospitals as of Tuesday, 45 of them in intensive care units. That was one more than last reported on Monday.

Up to and including Tuesday, 1,311,799 Hamburg residents had been vaccinated against Corona at least once. According to the RKI, that is 70.8 percent of the population. 1,241,677 people or 67 percent of Hamburgers are fully vaccinated. Nationwide, 67.4 percent of the population are vaccinated at least once and 63.4 percent are fully vaccinated.
