The health department reported 155 new corona cases on Saturday. 143 of them were registered in the city of Bremen, 12 in Bremerhaven. The day before, there were 82 cases in Bremen and 27 in Bremerhaven. The incidence in Bremen increases slightly from 128.3 to 128.6. The value for Bremerhaven drops from 135.5 to 119.7. At least in Bremerhaven the trend of the recently falling incidence is continuing. On Thursday, the value for new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was 135.1 in Bremen and 141.7 in Bremerhaven.
In the city of Bremerhaven, 25 recovered people were reported on Saturday, none in Bremen. No deaths were reported in either city.

Vaccinations are advancing
In the state of Bremen, a total of 159,813 people have so far been vaccinated in vaccination centers or by mobile teams. 62,106 of them have already received a second vaccination. 131,813 of the vaccinated people are in the municipality of Bremen, where 50,358 people have received a second vaccination so far. 28,000 people were vaccinated in Bremerhaven, 11,748 of them twice.
The Covid vaccinations have also started in the prison in Bremen. All employees who wanted immunization received their first injection. From Monday, the prisoners should also be vaccinated, if they want that.
