The upward trend in the seven-day incidence in Berlin has continued after a short break: In the past seven days, 23.5 people per 100,000 inhabitants have been infected with the virus in the capital, according to the latest data from Robert Koch- Institute from Saturday morning. On Friday the incidence was still 21.8, lower than on Thursday. Previously, the value had almost doubled in a week.
According to the RKI, the number of new infections within one day was 155. A total of 181,683 people have been infected with the virus since the start of the pandemic in Berlin. Another Covid-19-related death was recorded. The number of deaths in connection with a corona infection was 3578 in Berlin on Saturday.
