From Tuesday, Passau can again relax the corona restrictions in the city – because, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the 7-day incidence is below 50 on the fifth day on Sunday.

The RKI reported a 7-day incidence of 36 for Passau on Sunday (as of midnight). The city was already five days below the guideline value of 50 and once again announced extensive easing of the corona restrictions on Sunday.

The following changes apply from Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at midnight:

Day care centers

The facilities are open regularly. Schoolchildren are only allowed to take advantage of childcare offers if a negative test result, which is fundamentally necessary for the school, can be presented.

Commercial and service companies

The opening of shops is permitted with the stipulation “one customer per 10 or 20 m² depending on the sales area”. There is no need to make an appointment in advance.

Sportausübung

Contact-free sports are permitted in groups of up to 10 people (indoors and outdoors), outdoors in groups of up to 20 children under the age of 14, and outdoor contact sports for groups of up to 25 people with compulsory testing for all participants.

Kulturstätten

Museums, exhibitions and comparable cultural sites are allowed to open to visitors. There is no need to make an appointment in advance.

The city has already applied to the Bavarian state government for further relaxation, including in relation to outdoor catering, cultural events and river navigation / guided tours. Confirmation from the ministry is still pending. – ajk
