Corona incidence drops to 250.4 in North Rhine-Westphalia

In North Rhine-Westphalia, the seven-day incidence of new corona infections has fallen again. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported a value of 250.4 on Thursday. On Wednesday there were still 255.4 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week. In terms of incidence, NRW continues to be well below the value of 340.1 reported for the federal government.

For NRW, 8,892 new cases were reported within one day. According to the RKI, 52 people died within one day in connection with Covid-19.

The Lippe district has the highest incidence nationwide at 507.0. Remscheid (374.8), Wuppertal (367.6) and Krefeld (343.8) followed. The lowest incidence on Wednesday was in Münster with 116.3 and Mönchengladbach with 139.8.
