+++ 6.01 p.m .: The health department of Offenbach district has the 85th death on Saturday (November 14th, 2020) in connection with the Coronavirus reported. Corona: 1,407 new infections in Hesse
Update from Saturday, November 14th, 2020, 9.45 a.m .: The corona situation around Offenbach, Hanau and Darmstadt remains tense. Corona: Incidence in Offenbach well over 300 – Main-Kinzig-Kliniken impose a visit ban

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 2,149 people have been positive SARS-CoV-2 tested. 1,409 have now recovered. There have been 19 deaths so far.

Corona in Offenbach and the region: mask controls tightened
To contain the virus, Offenbach already regulate tightened and a mask requirement introduced in designated areas. The city recently announced increased mask controls. On Wednesday (November 11th, 2020) the city police, supported by twelve federal police officers, carried out controls in the city center.
“In total, around 100 people had to be reminded with a penalty that in Hesse the mask must be worn wherever the distance of at least one and a half meters cannot be maintained, ”said Mayor Peter Freier about the controls on Wednesday. Further controls would follow in the coming days.
Corona in the region: Offenbach with incidence in the front – Hanau badly affected
