In the past few days, several cases have occurred in schools in the district area. There is also a suspicion of infections with the Delta variant. “This affects the Otto Hahn School, Pestalozzi School and Lindenau School in Hanau,” said the district. “Here there is a suspicion that the virus variant was carried into the three schools from the family environment and two other children were infected,” explains the press office.
These are still suspected cases. However, the delta variant has already been proven in the “original case”. Those responsible urge caution: “We can all look forward to the low incidence figures. But we mustn’t make the mistake again and think that the virus is entirely gone. It is true that significantly fewer people in the Main-Kinzig district are infected with the corona virus than was the case a few weeks ago. However, just a few cases are enough to let the infection flare up again.
