Schiedam – On Monday, the RIVM reported 14 new infections among the inhabitants of Schiedam, yesterday there were 20, the day before yesterday 24.
The official totals reported today for Schiedam so far: 6,354 positive tests, 188 Schiedam residents have been or have been hospitalized and 102 city residents have died from the consequences of a corona infection. The actual figures for the number of infections and deaths are in all probability much higher.
Nationwide, 3,924 new confirmed corona infections were reported today. That is 619 less than yesterday.
In Dutch hospitals, the total number of corona patients admitted today is 1,905, 54 more than Sunday. Of these, 558 are in the ICU, an increase of 13 patients and 1,347 in the clinic, 41 patients more than yesterday.
