Corona: Incidence in Offenbach well over 300 – Main-Kinzig-Kliniken impose a visit ban

The 7 day incidence is according to the city at 368.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and has thus risen sharply again. The day before it was still at 342.3.
As the city of Offenbach reports, there are currently 706 positive Corona tested people in home quarantine, also 450 contact persons or persons who from Risk areas had returned. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 2,149 people have been positive SARS-CoV-2 tested. 1,409 have now recovered. There have been 19 deaths so far.

Corona in Offenbach and the region: mask controls tightened
To contain the virus, Offenbach already regulate tightened and a mask requirement introduced in designated areas. The city recently announced increased mask controls. On Wednesday (November 11th, 2020) the city police, supported by twelve federal police officers, carried out controls in the city center.
“In total, around 100 people had to be reminded with a penalty that in Hesse the mask must be worn wherever the distance of at least one and a half meters cannot be maintained, ”said Mayor Peter Freier about the controls on Wednesday. Further controls would follow in the coming days.
Corona in the region: Offenbach with incidence in the front – Hanau badly affected

- Values reported by municipalities themselves may differ from the figures from the Robert Koch Institute, since they pass on the data with a time delay. Figures given by the municipalities themselves are usually more up-to-date than those from the RKI or the Ministry of Social Affairs.
