The Main-Spessart district continues to have one of the highest corona death rates in Germany with a value of 5.98 percent (as of Friday). However, it goes back. In mid-January it was 6.1 percent, which means that around one in every seventeen people who tested positive for Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic died of or with the coronavirus. On Friday, the death rate was only in two districts or urban districts in Germany higher than in Main-Spessart, namely in Suhl in Thuringia, where it rose to 6.2 percent, and in Schwabach (6.0).
