  • The federal and state governments have agreed on new corona rules. From certain thresholds for the hospitalization rate, 2G should apply across the board. There should also be compulsory vaccination for certain occupational groups.
  • The Bundestag had previously decided to change the Infection Protection Act, the so-called epidemic situation of national scope is running out. Exit restrictions, extensive school, daycare and business closings as well as travel restrictions will no longer be possible in the future.
  • The reform is to be discussed in the Federal Council on Friday, the Union had initially threatened a blockade, but is now likely to agree.
