Two official sources at the Ministry of Health revealed that new cases of Corona virus were registered in all governorates of the Republic, with the exception of only two governorates, the New Valley and North Sinai.
As of Monday evening, Egypt recorded 656 new cases of Coronavirus, including 150 recoverers, and 41 deaths, according to the latest official census of the Ministry of Health.
The sources said in statements to Masrawy, today, Tuesday, that Cairo Governorate occupies the first place in the number of injuries registered with the Ministry, with 119 injuries recorded, Alexandria comes second with 82 cases, then Damietta with 72 cases, and the Red Sea with 59 cases so far.
They explained that 63 foreigners were infected with Corona virus during their presence in Egypt, until today, and most of these infections came to French and Italian nationals, then the Germans, as well as recording the case of an Indian person and another for a Moroccan.
The Ministry of Health is working to implement a home quarantine on the population of a number of regions after positive cases of the emerging “Corona” virus have been established.
The residents are being warned not to leave their homes, while providing them with all the necessary needs throughout the period of their detention, as a precautionary measure to preserve them.
