Many issues a number of ministers like Menko Marves Luhut Pandjaitan and SOE Minister Erick Thohir is said to be involved in the PCR test business. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md revealed that the beginning of the procurement of PCR tests appeared when Indonesia was in a panic facing the corona pandemic.
It is known that the news of a number of ministers playing in the PCR was revealed by the former Director of YLBHI Agustinus Edy Kristianto. These ministers are suspected of having links with PT Genomik Solidaritas Indonesia.

The linkage of the ministers is suspected to be through GSI shareholders. PT Toba Bumi Energi and PT Toba Sejahtrea as one of the shareholders of GSI are said to have a relationship with Luhut. Meanwhile, Erick is suspected of having links with GSI through the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation. This foundation is under PT Adaro Energy Tbk where Erick’s brother, Garibaldi Thohir is the president director.
Luhut Ready to Resign If You Receive PCR Business Money
Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan stated that he was ready to resign if he was proven to have received money from the PCR business. Luhut emphasized that he did not make a dime.
Luhut explained that he did donate money to Genomic Solidarity Indonesia (GSI). However, he said that the donation was solely not for profit, but for humanity.
“When I went to GSI, I put the money, indeed, but not in the context of taking profit,” said Luhut in an interview with CNN TV, as seen on Friday (12/11/2021).
Luhut also mentioned that he made donations to 7 universities in the country. From these donations, Luhut admitted that he did not make a dime of profit.
“I donated to 7 universities, at UI, at USU, at UGM, where is that, it’s a donation from me, there’s no profit, what do you want to gain? Then, if it wasn’t even worse, last July,” he said.
In order to prove his statement that he did not make any profit from the GSI, Luhut is ready to be audited by the BPK. He ensured that the money from GSI did not go to PT Tobako Sejahtera and other shareholders.
“I was very ready (to be audited) from the start, I didn’t have a penny in my pocket. Why is my money from my business enough to live on, I donate because I am truly humanitarian,” said Luhut.
Further, Luhut He was ready to be summoned by the KPK after he and the Minister of SOEs were reported to the KPK because of the PCR business issue. According to him, as long as he doesn’t feel like he’s done anything wrong, he won’t be afraid.
“Just be ready (to be called by the KPK), why not. I have nothing that I’m afraid of as long as I don’t do that, nothing. What do I do? for humanity,” he said.
“If I receive the money, I resign, it’s easy, just bother,” added Luhut.
