The number of newly infected Coronavirus around the world has exceeded the one-million mark, while more than 51,000 people have died, according to estimates by World Metro and Johns Hopkins University.

The number of injured people around the world reached one million and 207 people, while the number of deaths reached 51,356 so far, and the United States of America leads the number of injuries with more than 236 thousand injuries, while the number of Italy’s first deaths in the list of deaths reached 13915 people.

Countries of the world have taken harsh measures to cope with the outbreak of the epidemic, as the airspace between the countries has been closed, the study in schools and universities has been suspended, and government departments have been working almost completely, and curfews have been imposed either completely daily or partially in many countries of the world.

The most prominent religious bodies in the world, headed by Islamic and Christian ones, also prevented prayers in gatherings, mosques, and churches. Prayer was prohibited in the Two Holy Mosques in Saudi Arabia, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, and the Vatican prevented prayers in its churches to counter the spread of Corona.

In light of the outbreak, more than 3.9 billion people, equivalent to half of the human population, have been quarantined in their homes.
