The city of Bremen will tighten the corona rules again from Monday. The Senate decided because the 7-day incidence is now over 100 for three days in a row. From next week there will be more restrictions on shopping, visiting museums and doing sports.
From Monday onwards, people from Bremen will only be allowed to do sports alone, as a couple or with their roommates. Museums, memorials and botanical gardens have to close again. And appointment shopping, where customers could look around the store with an appointment, is banned again. Starting next week, only goods ordered online can be picked up at the shop door. There is also a new requirement for a mask in the car if you are traveling with people from another household.
Stricter rules apply until April 18th
Bremen’s Mayor Andreas Bovenschulte (SPD) had already announced the emergency brake in his government statement in the citizenship. He is aware of how desperate many companies are, especially in sectors such as the hospitality and event industry, but also in culture. But: The health system must not be overloaded and the spread of the corona virus must be limited.
The stricter rules apply from Monday and initially until April 18th.
