Because the incidence has been below 100 for days, the corona rules in Hanau and the Main-Kinzig district are being relaxed. What is allowed now and how it will continue.

Gelnhausen / Hanau – After months of lockdown, restaurants in Hanau and the Main-Kinzig district are allowed to reopen their outdoor areas. According to the rules of the federal emergency brake against the coronavirus, the relaxation was preceded by five consecutive days in which the incidence in the circle was stable below 100. On Sunday (May 23rd, 2021) the RKI reported a for the Main-Kinzig-Kreis Incidence of 73.5, on Monday of 74.0 – The limit value is thus still well below the limit.

For the Whitsun holidays this means for the Main-Kinzig district that the Beer gardens, terraces and street cafes are allowed to reopen in a circle – all catering establishments that have outside areas are allowed to serve guests again under certain conditions. The prerequisites include compliance with hygiene and distance rules, an obligation to follow up contacts and a Test obligation for guests. Specifically, this means that everyone is on the same day before going to the restaurant in one of the test centers, for example in Hanau, have to have them tested. Self-tests done at home are not enough.

When it comes to contact rules, there are also loosening of the Corona regulations: As of now, any number is allowed again Members of two households – Children and adolescents under 14 years of age, vaccinated people whose second appointment was two weeks ago and who can be proven to have recovered from the coronavirus are not counted. The night curfew between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. no longer applies. On the other hand, alcohol bans (on the street, not in the outdoor areas of the catering trade) and mask rules still apply in some busy squares and streets.

The recommendation to get a daily test and a mask is mandatory for a visit to the interior.

This is how it continues in the Main-Kinzig district: Relaxation of the corona rules from level 2

If the numbers in the Main-Kinzig district and in Hanau continue to develop positively, there are two options for further relaxation of the corona rules: The Loosening level 2 starts when the incidence has been below 100 for 14 consecutive days or below 50 for five consecutive days.
