The virus literally haunts the figures and is noticeable in many positions. “The supplementary budget is still just as healthy and serious as the original budget. Due to Corona, home office and illness, we were unable to implement all measures as planned, “said the mayor of the Wirges community, Michael Ortseifen, when the budget was passed in the last meeting of the VG Council before the one-month break. The municipality’s projects that have not been implemented are to be implemented in the coming year; the funds that have not been spent will be reinstated. The council members decided unanimously and passed the supplementary budget unanimously.
