The Philippine Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that it had registered the 19th death from the newly borne Coronavirus, and said the number of confirmed cases had risen to 262, up 32 from Friday.
The government imposed on more than half of the country’s population a strict quarantine in homes to curb the spread of the virus.
In Argentina, the Ministry of Health announced 30 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 158.
The ministry said, in a statement, that no new deaths were recorded within the past 24 hours, so that the number of deaths would stabilize at deaths.
