Corona death number is double-digit again for the first time

New York. In the US state of New York, which has been particularly hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic, the number of deaths in one day is in double digits for the first time in around two months. On Friday, 84 people died after being infected with the virus in the state with around 19 million inhabitants, said Governor Andrew Cuomo at his daily press conference on Saturday.

More than 360,000 people infected with corona

“This news is good news,” Cuomo continued. “It’s a sign that we’re making real progress.” The number of new infections also continued to decline in the state.
