Corona dashboard displays incomplete number of infections Inland

Since the beginning of this month, more than 264 infections have been reported too little, NRC writes. The dashboard reported 1,390 new infections in July, while 1,654 reported to RIVM.

This is evident from the study of the data by Marino van Zelst, PhD student of organizational sciences at Tilburg University, who investigates corona figures in his spare time. Also, not all hospital admissions are reported in the dashboard, Van Zelst discovered: in July, a total of 48 people were admitted with Covid-19, while the dashboard reports 20. The problem is the way in which previously incorrectly passed notifications are corrected.

The dashboard must signal new outbreaks as soon as possible, so that measures can be taken in time.
