Even if the number of corona cases in the city and district of Würzburg is currently only increasing moderately, the coordination group in the district office is in action. Among other things, she meets for a weekly exchange, reports the district office in a press release.
In addition to employees from departments of the district office, the coordination group also includes external consultants, such as representatives from aid organizations, fire services, the police, technical relief organizations and the German armed forces. Doctors are also represented in the coordination group.
At the meeting this week, Jürgen Maier, head of the Ochsenfurt police station, reported on the task of the police to repeatedly inform the population about compliance with the corona rules and to enforce them if necessary. Unfortunately, understanding from those affected is not always to be expected. In particular, private (barbecue) celebrations on public grounds and private events would have to be dissolved again and again because the current corona rules would be violated.
The deputy district administrator Christine Haupt-Kreutzer therefore appeals in the press release to the individual responsibility of the district citizens to strictly adhere to the corona rules: The regulations of the Bavarian state government have so far meant that we have the corona pandemic under control. And each individual can make a significant contribution to protecting themselves and others through their behavior. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap regularly, are you wearing ?? where required ?? the mouth and nose mask correctly and, above all, pay attention to the observance of the distances! “The combination of these measures still offers the best protection against corona infection, concludes Haupt-Kreutzer.
Regarding events such as weddings, funeral services, birthdays, school graduation parties and club or party meetings, the current sixth Bavarian Infection Control Ordinance states that they are permitted with up to 100 participants in closed rooms or with up to 200 participants in the open air, if the organizer has developed a protection and hygiene concept and can present it to the district administrative authority on request. Grilling and celebrating (with family or friends) in public places and facilities is generally prohibited.
For private gatherings at home, there is no restriction to a fixed group of people or a restriction on the number of guests, but the number of people should only be so large that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be maintained.
The common stay in the public space outdoors is only permitted with members of the own household and their relatives as well as members of another household, or in groups of a maximum of ten people.
There is a limited mask requirement. The protection is to be worn especially in local and long-distance traffic as well as in shops, but can also be mandatory when visiting doctors’ practices, hospitals or old people’s and nursing homes.
