The corona numbers continue to rise in Berlin and put a strain on the intensive care units. According to the Senate’s daily situation report, on November 27, 2021 the Corona traffic light was twice yellow and once red.
The system should warn if the situation develops critically. The corona incidence was therefore 369.6 and was therefore still red. The number indicates how many people per 100,000 population have been proven to have been infected with the virus in the past seven days. Nationwide, the incidence peaked on Saturday and, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), was 444.3.

Another important criterion for assessing the situation is the incidence of hospitalization. The value indicates how many people per 100,000 population were admitted to hospital within one week after a corona infection. It was 4.1 on Saturday and showed yellow on the Corona traffic light as it did a week ago. According to the management report, there have been a total of 5,488,941 vaccinations in Berlin so far. 68.9 percent of people in Berlin are considered fully vaccinated, 71.5 percent have received a first vaccination.
