The relevant corona data is updated daily with diagrams and graphics on a so-called Dashboard for the state of Brandenburg shown: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/331f51a39f3046208f355412190cb57b.

Notes on the number of cases and reports

Illnesses from COVID-19 must be reported immediately to the responsible health department by doctors, members of another healing or nursing profession, as well as managers of community facilities. That is the legal basis German Infection Protection Act and the Corona reporting obligation. This report must be available there no later than 24 hours after the reporter became aware of it. The 18 health authorities in Brandenburg must report these figures to the State Office for Occupational Safety, Consumer Protection and Health (LAVG) no later than the following working day. Every reported number requires an extensive check and must be recorded using special reporting software (SurvNet reporting system) and transmitted to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) no later than the following working day.

Due to the delay in reporting between the on-site discovery of cases and the submission to the LAVG, there may be Deviations on the figures currently published by the districts and urban districts. This is especially true for the weekends. The reported case numbers show a picture of the situation at the times mentioned.

For the assessment of the situation, however, the development of the number of cases over a longer period is relevant. Any statistical inaccuracies in a snapshot are unavoidable.

Reporting procedure: The state of Brandenburg forwards the data of the laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on a daily basis Reporting software SurvNet @ RKI have been reported to the State Office for Occupational Safety, Consumer Protection and Health (LAVG) by 7:00 p.m. at the latest. After a plausibility check, the LAVG forwards this data to the RKI by 8:00 p.m. at the latest. On the part of the RKI, further testing and evaluation routines take place from 8:00 p.m. on the basis of a set of rules. One of the prerequisites is the presence of a positive PCR result. The data is updated and published by the RKI once a day at midnight.

In the Number of recovered it is about respected values. In general, those infected from the outpatient area are considered to have recovered after 14 days, according to the RKI standard. There is no statutory reporting requirement in Germany for an infected person to recover.

The 7 day incidence corresponds to the number of newly reported COVID-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days.

The Number of actively sick people is calculated as follows: total number of laboratory-confirmed cases minus the estimated number of recovered minus the number of deaths.
