“I thought it was terrible, but luckily this has been lifted again and we can walk around freely again,” Patricia now writes on her Instagram. Fortunately, she has mostly positive news to report. Her rehabilitation is going very well. ‘The doctors are very positive. A lot of walking and moving is my motto! Climbing stairs is now also a bit of a challenge. I am also positive and do my very best.’

If all goes well, Patricia may be able to go home in two weeks. That means that she can still be in her familiar environment at Christmas. ‘I’m ready to start and can’t wait to be home for the holidays. After all those weeks, from October in the hospital, the end is really in sight! I am a happy person.’
