The players and the staff of the BSC Young Boys have undergone a corona test after a week’s recovery without team training, the club writes in a message. All results were negative – with one exception: Roger Assalé’s test was positive. The Ivory Coast striker shows no symptoms, but has to be quarantined.

Roger Assalé was loaned to Leganés last season and had himself tested several times in Spain, all tests were negative, writes YB. After the last championship game against Real Madrid a month ago, the 26-year-old family man traveled to his home country. With a view to the start of training on Tuesday, the international of the Ivory Coast returned to Bern, whereby it now pays off that all YB players were consciously tested before their return to the team.

Timely isolation
