Since its humble beginnings in 2010, Corona Capital has become one of the most anticipated music festivals in Latin America and even the world. With “more impressive lineups every year,” according to the specialized magazine Spin. And the 2024 edition is no exception, the newly confirmed lineup is an eclectic mix of music for diverse tastes.
Corona Capital’s success is largely due to the careful selection of its lineup, which has featured some of the most influential bands and artists on the international scene. From The Strokes and Björk to Queens of the Stone Age and Lorde, the festival has witnessed epic performances.
Who will be on the Corona Capital 2024 poster?
After a 2023 edition full of nostalgia due to the performance of iconic bands from the eighties and nineties, such as The Cure, Pulp, Blur and even Alanis Morissette, this year’s festival once again has headliners from different generations: from Paul McCartney to Shawn Mendes, Melanie Martinez and New Order.

The bands in charge of opening the doors of the festival on day one will be Toto, Greenday and Zedd on the main stages. The second day will feature performances by renowned international artists and emerging talents from the local scene, such as Black Pumas, St. Vincent, Crystal Fighters and New Order. The last day of the festival will close with a flourish Paul McCartney, Jack White replacing Queens Of The Stone Age and Empire Of The Sun on the main stages. Also The Magic Numbers, Iggy Pop, Wispe, Beck, to name a few.
Over the years, Corona Capital has presented an impressive array of musical genres, from indie and rock to pop and electronica. In addition to music, the festival offers activities and experiences, from art installations to gourmet food areas.
When and where will Corona Capital 2024 take place?
Corona Capital 2024 will take place on November 15, 16 and 17 at Turn 4 of the Hermanos Rodríguez Racetrack, which has been its venue since its first edition.

The cost of the tickets The general pass in phase 1 costs 4,490 pesos; VIP access costs 8,780 pesos. Travel packages, which include accommodation, range from 39,155 pesos to 145,310 pesos. The Corona Capital 2024 presale will begin on June 25 at two in the afternoon.
Where to watch the live stream?
As in previous years, Corona Capital is offering the public who were unable to purchase a ticket a live broadcast of the three days of the festival. The streaming can be seen through Twitch and the event’s official YouTube channel; the times coincide with the festival’s schedule.
How to get there
Mexico City Metro Line 9 (brown) has three stations that provide easy access to the Hermanos Rodríguez Racetrack: Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva, and Puebla. Another option is the purple metrobus line; the closest stations are UPIICSA and El Rodeo. If you have your own vehicle, there is parking at Gate 15 and all the gates of the Palacio de los Deportes, but in any case it is subject to availability, so it is recommended to arrive early to get a place. Pedestrian access to the festival is through Gates 6 and 15.
