According to the Vaccination Task Force, the development of the corona epidemic in Belgium is currently so favorable that such compulsory vaccination is no longer necessary. But in the event of a possible flare-up of the epidemic in the future, the task force will be able to adjust its report again, it said.
Mandatory vaccinations for healthcare workers have been hotly debated in Belgium for a long time, but have never been implemented in concrete terms.
A first date for this mandatory vaccination was January 1, 2022, but this date has been pushed back to July 1, 2022. Now it looks like it won’t be rolled out unless Corona flares up again after the summer…
