As a Spokesman for the West Palatinate Police Headquarters reported on Sunday morning that a young man celebrated his 18th birthday with around 20 guests in a forest area in the Mölschbach district of Kaiserslautern.
During the festivities, alcohol is said to have flowed in abundance, which apparently heated up the mood among the people present and ultimately turned negative. So it happened that an argument broke out between an extremely drunk 20-year-old and other guests of the party.
As a result, the young man is said to have pulled out a carpet knife in his possession, fussed with it and attacked other celebrants with it. He used the knife to slightly cut three people before he got into his car and hastily fled.
The celebratory community then alerted the police, who immediately took extensive investigative measures.
These were crowned with success a short time later, as the 20-year-old was found in an apartment of an acquaintance and arrested. Also the Murder weapon could be secured there.

Blood was taken from the suspected stabber and his driver’s license was secured. The young man is now facing several criminal charges. But he’s not the only one waiting for letters from the authorities.
