In the seven weeks that the smartphone application ‘Coronalert’ is available to the general public, more than 2 million Belgians have downloaded the app. “That means that 28 percent of all smartphone users have the app. This is good compared to other European countries, ”says Karine Moykens, chairman of the Interfederal Testing & Tracing Committee. “Am I completely satisfied with those two million? Not that either. It could be a bit more. ”
