She recalled that yesterday – July 5, the results of the internal party poll in the BSP, about what kind of president they want the party to elect, came out.
According to Ninova, yesterday was a tense day after the statements of ABV deputy chairman Ivaylo Kalfin, regarding her words that neither he nor Georgi Parvanov could be the general candidates of the left.
“I would say to quench the emotions and put down the ego, because we have a much more important task – to unite the left, to have a common goal and to give another path to Bulgaria”, she urged.
Ninova stated that the persons who will be candidates for the party’s presidential couple are about to be nominated in the BSP.
“We have to nominate the names in the BSP and hold the talks with the other parties – ABV and “Movement 21″ and then we will continue. Indeed, the leaders of the parties should not raise the issue of them being presidential candidates”, she also urged.
The BSP leader stated that yesterday before giving a press conference on “Positano 20” she spoke with Tatiana Doncheva and invited her to a meeting next week.
“We will propose a draft platform for the presidential elections. There are things that unite us on the left and there are things that divide us,” added Ninova.
According to her, 12.3% of those who participated in the internal party survey want joint actions with the DPS for the presidential elections.
“We do not foresee talks, because the percentage is low. For me, this result is not surprising, in my opinion, this result will come out of the mixed regions”, said Kornelia Ninova. She added that it does not seem possible for the DPS to support the general candidate for the president of “The names are nominated at a conference and it starts next week,” she said.
“We will try to have a couple on Buzludzha on July 30. During that time, the conferences of the other parties must take place. Do not take it as a 100% promise. If we do not succeed by then, the National Council of the BSP will give us August 31. We will try on -early out of respect for people,” Ninova said.
