This Monday, Corinthians announced the release of the striker Nathan Palafozto do medical exams no FK Knights, from Lithuania. According to the club, if the negotiations work out, the agreement should be in a possible definitive transfer.
The striker was defending the colors of Nova Iguaçu, from Rio de Janeiro, when Timão agreed to his loan to the Rio de Janeiro team at the end of last year. Now Nathan must make his way in Europe. The link with the club from the neighboring state was valid until the end of the Carioca Championship.
The player never played for Corinthians’ main team, always being loaned since when the age limit for being used in the youth categories broke. In 2022, he made his first semester in Spanish football, where he defended the colors of Racing de Ferrol, accumulating 26 matches played and four goals scored.
Already in the second half of the last season, Nathan returned to Brazilian football to wear the shirt of Avai. In the south of Brazil, the striker was little used, entering the field only six times and not scoring a single goal. Loaned to Nova Iguaçu in 2023, the striker played a total of eight matches for the Campeonato Carioca and scored in just one opportunity.
Nathan experienced his best moment at Parque São Jorge between 2018 and 2019. During this period, the athlete scored 50 goals for Timão’s Under-20 team. The player had a bond with Corinthians until the end of 2023.
