This Tuesday, Corinthians finished preparing for the match against América-MG, valid for the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil. At CT Joaquim Grava, Timão’s squad did the second and last training session before the duel.
The work, as usual, started in the inner part of the training center, more specifically in the gym, where a physical activation was carried out. Afterwards, the athletes headed to Field 2, for the now traditional warm-up.
Soon after, on the lawn, activities with the ball began. At first, coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo organized a tactical work. Next, the commander promoted offensive movement training with passes, crosses and submissions.
After training, Corinthians released the list of players for the match. Luxembourg will have 28 players at its disposal. The news is the return of defender Bruno Méndez, midfielders Cantillo, Fausto Vera and Renato Augusto, as well as forwards Adson and Pedro.
With that, a possible Timão for the duel against América-MG has: Cassius; Fagner, Gil (Bruno Mendez), Murillo and Fabio Santos (Matthew Bidu); Fausto Vera, Gabriel Moscardo and Ruan Oliveira; Adson (William Biro), Roger Guedes and Yuri Alberto.
