Corinthians Miss Out on Signing Left-Back Dalbert for the Brasileirão and Libertadores Semifinal

Corinthians could have signed left-back Dalbert who, according to the Rio Grande do Sul press, is very close to being announced by Internacional as a reinforcement for the Brasileirão and for the Libertadores semifinal.

The report of my helm found that, recently, the player was offered to the board by one of its representatives, who gave priority to Corinthians. Dalbert will turn 30 this Friday.

Through Alessandro Nunes, the Corinthians board chose not to start negotiations due to the two athletes in the sector (Fábio Santos and Matheus Bidu). The staff then opened conversations with other clubs, including the Gaucho club.

The left-back has not played for over a year due to a serious knee injury while on loan at Cagliari. But, according to his staff, he is recovered and ready to return to the pitch.

Dalbert is free on the market since the end of his bond with Inter Milan-ITA and trained on his own. As he has no link with another club, Dalbert can normally be signed up by Inter even with the transfer window closed.

The player, who will turn 30 this Friday, basically made his career in Europe. Revealed on the basis of Fluminense, Dalbert played in Portugal (Académico de Viseu and Vitória SC), France (Nice and Rennes) and Italy (Internazionale, Fiorentina and Caglieri).
