Corinthians faces new lawsuit from former player Camacho after previous court victory

This Thursday, Corinthians won a new problem in court. Camacho, a defensive midfielder who wore the alvinegro mantle and currently defends Santos, returned to sue the club after six months of victory in court.

According to the information published by the ge.globo, the player charges R$ 498,000 from Timão. The amount refers to the 13th salary, Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS) and other severance payall referring to Camacho’s second contract with the Parque São Jorge club.

The first hearing in the case is scheduled for October 26. The date was set by Judge Nayara Oliveira Rodrigues da Cunha, from the 64th Labor Court of São Paulo.

Santos midfielder goes to court against Corinthians about six months after winning another lawsuit against the club. At the first time, Timão was ordered to pay BRL 1.2 million to the player, in disputes regarding the first contract between the parties, valid from 2016 until January 2020.

Still according to the ge.globo, Corinthians may receive a new judicial charge from the athlete. That’s because the club still has outstanding amounts of image rights.

For Timão, Camacho has played 123 matches. The player has a record of 63 wins, 33 draws and 27 defeats. In his passage, the midfielder scored three goals.
