Corinthians’ Defender Léo Santos and Attacking Midfielder Jonathan Cafu Without Contracts as 2024 Arrives

The arrival of 2024 marks the end of the links between defender Léo Santos and attacking midfielder Jonathan Cafu with the Corinthians. After successive loans, the duo is left without a contract with Timão.

Formed on the basis of CorinthiansLéo Santos is 25 years old and has not played for the team since 2021. After that, he was loaned to Ponte Preta, Ferroviária and Ceará, the club he defended last season.

Léo Santos played 44 matches for Corinthians and won two Paulistas (2017 and 2018) and one Brasileirão (2017).

Jonathan Cafu played much less for Timão. Hired at the end of 2020, the now 32-year-old player only played three duels for the club.

In the last three seasons he was on loan at Cuiabá.

Soon, another loaned player will be out of contract with the Corinthians. This is Rodrigo Varanda, who is at América-MG and has a contract with Timão until the end of January.

Striker Léo Natel, on loan from Melbourne City, in Australia, has a contract with the Corinthians until the end of the year.
